Packages
A package keeps a 3D model and its drawings together: they are reviewed, shared and released as one.
Creating a package
Upload several files at once and they become a package. Give it a name, and add more files later.
- Files from the same folder that are in no package yet can be added to one.
- A drawing set counts as one file, with its sheets approved one by one.
Revisions
Upload new versions of files and publish them as a new revision of the package.
- For each file, the package shows whether it is new, updated or unchanged in this revision.
- Earlier revisions stay browsable as they were.
Reviewing a package
Review files opens the first file, with the package bar above it.
- Step from file to file, and approve each one on the way.
- Once every file is approved, approve the package. You can also request changes or add a note.
- The package page shows how many files are approved and which still have open comments.
Sharing
Sharing a package applies to all its files. Commenters can view, comment on and review every file, editors can also upload files and new versions. More about sharing and permissions.
