Team & Billing
ClearHandoff uses a team-based model where members share a subscription. This guide explains team roles and how billing works.
Team Roles
Admin
Full access to everything. Can manage team members, handle billing, and work on drawings. Every team needs at least one admin.
Member
Can work on drawings, run AI reviews, and collaborate with the team. Cannot manage team membership or billing.
Billing Admin
Can only manage billing and subscription settings. Cannot access drawings or team management. Useful for finance departments.

Seats & Billing
Your subscription includes a certain number of seats for team members:
- Admins and Members each require one seat
- Billing Admins do NOT require a seat (they're free to add)
- You can add more seats anytime from the Subscription page
Inviting Team Members
Only Admins can invite new team members:
- Go to the Team page from the navigation menu
- Click 'Invite Member' and enter their email address
- Choose their role (Admin, Member, or Billing Admin)
Tip: Add a Billing Admin if you need someone from finance to manage payments without giving them access to your drawings.
