How It Works
The text-to-drawing generator turns a natural language description into a complete engineering drawing with geometry, dimensions, and a title block.

| 2. AI generates the drawing | The AI creates a complete drawing with geometry elements, dimensions, centerlines, and a filled title block. This may take a moment. |
| 3. Edit in the drawing tool | The generated drawing opens in the editor where you can move, resize, or delete elements, add tolerances, adjust dimensions, and export as PDF, SVG, or PNG. |
Writing Good Prompts
The more detail you provide, the closer the result will be to what you need. That said, the AI will make reasonable assumptions for anything you leave out — so a short description works too.

Built-in Examples
The generator page includes 5 ready-made examples you can try without signing in. These range from simple parts like a mounting bracket to more complex ones like a stepped shaft with a keyway. Use them to see what the AI can do before writing your own prompt.
Credits & Limits
Custom prompts use our flagship model and consume one AI credit from your team's subscription. When credits are exhausted, generation falls back to a lightweight model at no charge. Cached prompts and built-in examples are always free.

Editing After Generation
Every element in the generated drawing is fully editable. You can move geometry, adjust dimensions, add tolerances, insert surface finish symbols, or delete elements you don't need. The drawing editor works exactly the same as when creating a drawing from scratch.
